Examination Pattern of State B.ED Entrance
The test shall be conducted in two papers. The subjects and distribution of marks in each paper are given in the following table.
- Exam Name : B.Ed Entrance 2020
- Time : 2 hour and 30 Minutes
- Total mark 100 Marks
- 1 Mark for Each correct answer and 0.25 Mark will be deducted for wrong answer
Detailed Syllabus of State B.ED Entrance Examination
Section I :
It is compulsory for all the candidates. It would consist of
- Language (English),
- General Awareness,
- Reasoning
- Teaching Aptitude.
This Section shall be of 50 marks. There will be 50 questions. Each question carries one (01) mark. Question shall be multiple choice type.
Section II :
It shall be of 100 marks. Each subject shall carry 50 marks. There shall be fifty questions in each of the subjects. Each question carries one mark. All the questions are of multiple choice type.
The following is the distribution of marks and the broad areas under each aspect.
Section II shall consist of subject based tests. Candidates with Science background has to choose any two subjects from among Mathematics, Physical Science, Bio-Science and Geography. Candidates with Arts background has to choose any two subjects from among Mathematics, History and Political Science, Geography, English, Odia.
Paper I : (compulsory for all candidates). Full Marks : 50
- General English : 10 Qns : 10 Mark
- Education and General Awareness : 10 Qns : 10 Mark
- Reasoning : 10 Qns : 10 Mark
- Teaching Aptitude : 20 Qns : 20 Mark
Paper – II : Full Marks : 100
Set – A (Arts Stream)
- General English : 25Qns : 25 Mark
- Odia : 25Qns : 25 Mark
- History and Political Science : 30Qns : 30 Marks
- Geography : 20Qns : 20 Marks
Set – B (Science Stream)
- Physical Science : 35Qns : 35 Marks

- Mathematics : 30 Qns : 30 Marks
Type of Questions :
Multiple choice with four options. The candidates are required to give their answer on OMR Sheets by darkening the circle against the right answer.

Paper I
