1. ‘Meri Mati Mera Desh’ campaign is started by Eknath Shinde.
◉ The ‘Meri Mati, Mera Desh’ campaign was introduced by Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde at Mumbai’s historic August Kranti Maidan in the presence of numerous dignitaries, including Deputy Chief Ministers Devendra Fadnavis and Ajit Pawar.
◉ The fact that the demand to leave India and establish Swarajya came from Maharashtra’s soil was a source of pride.

2. The National Institute of Industrial Engineering is now India’s 21st IIM.

◉ The NITIE will be India’s 21st IIM and the second in Maharashtra, following the IIM Nagpur, which was the first of India’s six new-generation IIMs to open in 2015.

3. Kolkata hosts the third G20 Anti-Corruption Working Group Meeting.
