1. Himachal Pradesh’s Water Sports Center was opened by Anurag Thakur.
◉ Anurag Thakur, a Union Minister, opened a water sports facility in Bilaspur, Himachal Pradesh.
◉ Rowing, canoeing, and kayaking are just a few of the water sports that will be taught at the center.
◉ The Sports Authority of India (SAI) and National Thermal Power Corporation together launched the Water Sports Centre, the first facility of its type in Himachal Pradesh (NTPC).
2. The foundation stone for projects is laid by PM Modi in Bharuch, Gujarat.

7. Srihari Nataraj won the gold medal in the 100-meter freestyle swim at the 36th National Games.
◉ Srihari Nataraj, a Tokyo Olympian, won the men’s 100-meter freestyle swimming competition at the 36th National Games in Gujarat to earn his sixth gold medal.
◉ Srihari Nataraj of Karnataka competed at the Sardar Patel Aquatics Complex in Rajkot and added another gold medal to his collection by setting a new National Games record with a time of 50.41 seconds.
