1. UNICEF and India will jointly introduce the “Green Rising” program during the COP28 conference in Dubai.
◉ At the COP28 in Dubai, UNICEF’s Generation Unlimited and the Indian Ministry of Environment, Forests, and Climate Change will launch the “Green Rising” program.
◉ The “Green Rising India Alliance” and the global “Green Rising” program are the result of a partnership between UNICEF, Generation Unlimited, and a wide range of youth, public, and business partners.
◉ The primary objective is to inspire millions of youth across the globe to actively engage in green activities that address and mitigate the devastating effects of climate change on their local communities.
2. The initial ABP Delta Ranking was released by NITI Aayog.
◉ According to NITI Aayog, the Tiriyani Block in Kumuram Bheem Asifabad district, Telangana, has emerged victorious in the maiden delta rankings of the Aspirational Blocks Programme (ABP).

329 districts and 500 aspirational blocks from around the nation participated in a virtual event held at NITI Aayog to reveal the ranks.

◉ Together with Mastercard, IDFC FIRST Bank has launched the “FIRST SWYP” credit card, which is targeted at young people.
