1. 33 districts have already been inaugurated by the Chhattisgarh chief minister.
◉ Manendragarh-Chirmiri-Bharatpur and Sakti have been formally proclaimed as the 32nd and 33rd districts of Chhattisgarh by Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel.
◉ Sakti has been divided from Janjgir-Champa, while Koriya district has been divided into Manendragarh-Chirmiri-Bharatpur.
◉ In the first week of September 2022, Baghel officially formally launched three additional districts.
2. Railway invited other parties to construct a wheel plant.
◉ For the first time, Indian Railways has released a tender to entice private parties to construct a high-speed wheel plant as part of the Make in India project.
◉ As part of this effort, only domestic manufacturers will be used to purchase 80,000 wheels annually for a total cost of 600 crore rupees.
It will take 18 months to build up the factory.
◉ Every year, Indian Railways needs two lakh wheels. One lakh wheels will be given by the Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL), and the remaining wheels would be produced in a new “Make in India” plant, according to the plan.
3. Pune’s MeitY-approved electronics manufacturing cluster will cost Rs 500 billion.
◉ A Rs 500 billion electronics manufacturing cluster (EMC) has been approved by the government for Pune.
◉ The EMC, which would be built in Ranjangaon Phase-III, will cover 297 acres.
◉ The Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) approved the plan, which is anticipated to bring in up to Rs 2,000 crore in investments.

4. Armed services will receive renewable energy from NTPC

◉ With more advanced and enhanced features including 0 to 100 Kmph acceleration in just 52 seconds, a top speed of 180 Kmph, lighter weight of 392 tonnes rather than 430 tonnes, and WI-FI content on demand.
◉ Along with 32-inch LCD TVs, the new Vande Bharat will also contain 24-inch LCD TVs. Travel will be more comfortable thanks to ACs that are 15% more energy efficient and traction motor cooling that uses clean, dust-free air.

◉ To support a chair for independent research, HDFC Bank and the Institute of Economic Growth (IEG) have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU).

◉ Actor Tanikella Bharani from Telugu received the Lok Nayak Foundation’s Sahitya Puraskar.

11. Gagan Strike is a combined drill between the Indian Army and the Indian Air Force.
◉ In Punjab, the Kharga Corps of the Indian Army and the Indian Air Force engaged in a joint exercise known as “Gagan Strike.” The four-day exercise saw the deployment of assault helicopters as the aerial arm supporting ground forces engaged in drills, simulating the utter destruction of enemy defences and deep penetration.
◉ It also demonstrated the assault helicopters’ ability to fire precisely while working with the mechanised columns of the ground forces.
