1. Viksit Bharat @2047: Voice of Youth was introduced by the PM. Workshop
◉ In addition to launching “Viksit Bharat@2047-Voice of Youth,” Prime Minister Narendra Modi also remotely addressed vice-chancellors and heads of other higher education institutions across the country.
◉ The event was physically attended by over 1000 students, vice-chancellors, and heads of roughly 61 Assamese higher education institutions. It was sponsored by Assam governor Gulab Chand Kataria at IIT Guwahati. Approximately 600 colleges and 45 higher education institutions took part in the virtual mode.
2. The government has disbursed loans of around Rs 9,790 crore under the PM SVANidhi scheme.
◉ Government data shows that beneficiaries of the PM Street Vendor’s AtmaNirbhar Nidhi (PM SVANidhi) scheme have received loans totaling Rs 9,790 crore thus far.
◉ To give working capital loans of up to Rs 50,000 to urban street vendors without the need for collateral, the plan was introduced during the COVID-19 pandemic. This program is accessible in all urban local bodies in India.
◉ Regardless of when they began selling, all street vendors in cities are qualified to receive benefits under the PM SVANidhi Scheme.

4. Two new nuclear-powered submarines were unveiled by Russia.
◉ “Krasnoyarsk and Emperor Alexander,” two brand-new nuclear-powered submarines, were unveiled by Russian President Vladimir Putin.
◉ The eighth atomic-powered submarine to enter service is the Emperor Alexander III, built by Borei. They are all equipped with sixteen Bulava intercontinental ballistic missiles with nuclear tips.
◉ The Krasnoyarsk is a modern Yasen-class nuclear-powered submarine. It can strike terrestrial targets and is equipped with cruise missiles and torpedoes. Its primary mission is to locate and destroy enemy submarines.

5. Bank of India Reveals Account for Savings Nari Shakti
◉ The Bank of India (BoI) has introduced the Nari Shakti Savings Account, an exclusive savings option for women who have a source of income.
◉ The savings account offers benefits including up to ₹1 crore in personal accident insurance coverage, health insurance and wellness product discounts, and locker facility rebates for holders of gold and diamond SB A/Cs, among other things.
◉ The account also provides free credit card issuance, a greater use limit of up to ₹5 lakh on point-of-sale (POS) transactions, a concessional rate of interest on retail loans, and a waiver of processing fees on these loans.

6. Rajasthan CM Bhajan Lal Sharma has been appointed
◉ The Bharatiya Janata Party has named Bhajan Lal Sharma as the next Chief Minister of Rajasthan (BJP). He defeated Congressman Pushpendra Bhardwaj in the just-ended elections from the Sanganer assembly seat, garnering more than 48,081 votes.
◉ Vasundhara Raje of the BJP, who was also a candidate for the top position, put out Bhajan Lal Sharma’s name as the Chief Minister of Rajasthan.

◉ Bharati, who was born in 1935 in Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh, completed her master’s degree in Hindi literature at Prayag University in 1955. For a ten-year career, Bharati has written and edited books in a variety of genres, winning praise from critics.
◉ An exceptional piece of Hindi literature written by an Indian citizen and published during the last ten years is the recipient of this prize. It comes with a plaque, citation, and ₹4 lakh in cash prize money.

10. Joint Military Exercise VINBAX-2023, Fourth Edition, kicks off in Hanoi
◉ Forty-five members of the Indian Armed Forces have traveled to Hanoi, Vietnam, to take part in the Joint Military Exercise VINBAX-2023, which is in its fourth year.
◉ The planned dates of the exercise are December 11, 2023, through December 21, 2023.
◉ The Indian contingent, which consists of six members of the Army Medical Corps and 39 members of an Engineer Regiment of the Bengal Engineer Group, seeks to provide expertise in both engineering and medical operations. Conversely, an equivalent number of personnel will represent the Vietnam People’s Army contingent.
