1. The Delhi Government and UNICEF collaborated to provide job possibilities for youngsters.
◉ To provide job prospects for Delhi Skill and Entrepreneurship University students, the Delhi government has partnered with UNICEF (DSEU).
◉ To facilitate access to employment prospects, UNICEF’s YuWaah (Generation Unlimited India) and Delhi’s Skill Varsity have teamed.
◉ The “YuWaah Step Up – Bano work ready” pillar is a second pillar that DSEU students will participate in as part of a six-month pilot project being run by Flywheel Digital Solutions Pvt.
2. By 2023, India’s first elevated urban expressway, “Dwarka,” will be in use.
◉ According to Nitin Gadkari, the Minister for Road Transport and Highways, the Dwarka Expressway, which is being built as India’s first elevated urban expressway, will open to traffic in 2023.
◉ Dwarka Expressway would relieve pressure from commuters from West Delhi on the Delhi-Gurgaon Expressway (a portion of the Delhi-Jaipur-Ahmedabad-Mumbai arm of the Golden Quadrilateral) and arterial highways that encounter heavy traffic congestion.
A minimum three-lane service road will be provided on both sides of the 16-lane access-controlled roadway.
3. The Tripura government introduced the “Earn with Learn” Program.
◉ The Tripura government has introduced a new program called “Earn with Learn” to re-engage students who had left the classroom after the Covid-19 outbreak.

6. A global naming competition for China’s newest solar observatory has begun.
◉ A new solar observatory stationed in space will be launched by China to investigate the connection between the solar magnetic field, solar flares, and coronal mass ejections (CMEs).
◉ The Chinese Academy of Sciences is now naming the observatory, which is scheduled to launch in October (CAS).
◉ The first vehicle to carry three payloads would be the Advanced Space-Based Solar Observatory (ASO-S), which weighs about 888 kg.

17. Barry Sinclair, a former captain of the New Zealand cricket team, has died.
◉ Barry Sinclair, a former New Zealand cricket captain, and hitter passed away at the age of 85. After John R. Reid and Bert Sutcliffe, the former captain was the third New Zealander to achieve 1,000 runs in a Test match.
◉ Between 1963 and 1968, Sinclair participated in 21 Test matches for New Zealand, scoring 1148 runs at a 29.43 average, including three hundred — against South Africa, Pakistan, and England.
18. Enamul Haque, a well-known archaeologist, passes and died.
◉ Dr. Enamul Haque, a renowned historian, and archaeologist died at the age of 85 in Dhaka.
