1. The governor of J&K has created the first-of-its-kind QR code-based procedure to certify and label J&K’s handmade carpets.
- Manoj Sinha, the Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir, has introduced a QR Code-based mechanism for labelling handmade carpets in J&K, which is the first of its type in the country.
- Customers can use the QR-based application to examine and verify the authenticity of carpets made in Jammu and Kashmir, as well as other pertinent information.
2. The SMILE scheme was launched by the Department of Social Justice and Empowerment.

6. HDFC Ergo has teamed with Visa to provide insurance coverage on a limited number of bank cards.
