1. Aviation Boom In Uttar Pradesh: Nine New Airports In Two Years, It Is Revealed Jyotiraditya Scindia, the Union Minister of Civil Aviation, has outlined ambitious plans for the aviation infrastructure of Uttar Pradesh.
◉ Within the next two years, the Modi administration plans to build nine new airports in the state. With the help of this project, Uttar Pradesh will have an astounding 18 airports overall.
◉ Scindia emphasized the government’s outstanding accomplishments in the aviation sector, pointing to the construction of 75 airports in the previous nine years. Compared to the 74 airports built during the first 65 years of India’s independence, this represents a significant improvement. There are currently 149 airports, heliports, and waterdromes in the country.
2. UIDAI Suspends Operator, Penalties Operator Rs. 50,000 for Overcharging for Aadhaar Services

6. RBI Gives Bandhan Bank Permission To Pay Pensions To Retired Railroad Workers
◉ The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has officially authorized Bandhan Bank to handle pension disbursement on behalf of the Ministry of Railways via e-Pension Payment Orders (e-PPOs).
◉ This mandate expands the bank’s reach to include all offices, including the eight production units and 17 zonal railways of Indian Railways, and an average of 50,000 retirees from Indian Railways each year.
◉ With this newfound authority, Bandhan Bank can pay pensions to Ministry of Railways retirees, including those who have completed their tenure with the company.
