1. Amur Falcon Festival is held for the seventh time in Manipur.
◉ The Tamenglong district of Manipur has hosted the seventh Amur Falcon Festival.
◉ Typically, the first or second week of November is when the day-long event is observed.
◉ Since 2015, the festival has been held to raise awareness of the Amur falcon, the longest-flying migratory bird in the world, and its need for protection and conservation.
◉ The Amur falcon (Falco amurensis) is a member of the falcon family that travels the farthest.
2. In New Delhi, the 41st India International Trade Fair opens.
◉ At Pragati Maidan in New Delhi, the 41st India International Trade Fair (IITF) gets underway.
Piyush Goyal, minister of commerce and industry, officially opened the show, which will run through November 27.
◉ The trade show’s 2018 theme is Vocal For Local, Local to Global.
◉ There are 29 States and Union Territories taking part in the competition.

3. Chennai will become the site of Reliance Industries’ first multimodal logistics park in India.
◉ In Chennai, Tamil Nadu, the industrialist Mukesh Ambani-led Reliance Industries will construct India’s first multimodal logistics park (MMLP).
◉ The development of the multimodal logistics park is expected to cost the developer Rs. 783 crores over three phases. By 2025, phase-1 development should be completed, paving the way for commercial operations.
◉ A logistics hub for the southern region will be established at MMLP in Chennai, which is conveniently located 52 km from Chennai Port, 80 km from Ennore Port, and 87 km from Katupalli Airport.
◉ According to the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways, the 184-acre MMLP will cost Rs 1,424 crore to build.
4. The third ministerial “No Money for Terror” conference will be held in New Delhi by India.
◉ On November 18 and 19, the third Ministerial Conference on “No Money for Terror” will be held in New Delhi by the Indian Ministry of Home Affairs.

6. Indian Navy Conducted Offshore Security Exercise “Prasthan”
◉ A staged exercise called “Prasthan” by the Indian Navy was conducted off the coast of Mumbai on a platform owned by the Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) to assess organizational performance in defending offshore assets.
◉ Under the direction of Western Naval Command Headquarters, Prasthan is held twice a year.
It attempts to evaluate various protocols and solutions designed to deal with security threats and other potential emergencies on offshore oil production sites.

7. World Cup for U-19 Men’s T-20 to be held in Sri Lanka The 2024 Under-19 Men’s T-20 World Cup will be held in Sri Lanka, and the 2026 tournament will be held in Zimbabwe and Namibia, according to the announcement made by the International Cricket Council (ICC).
◉ The U-19 women’s T20 World Cup will take place in Malaysia and Thailand in 2025, while Bangladesh and Nepal will host the event in 2027.
◉ The qualification process for the 10-team women’s T20 World Cup was also announced by the ICC. Eight teams, including the top three teams from each group in the 2023 T20 World Cup, will automatically qualify for the competition.
