1. PM Kisan Samman Nidhi has launched the eighth instalment.
◉ The eighth instalment of Prime Minister Kisan Samman Nidhi was just released by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
◉ The Indian government sends Rs 6,000 to small and marginal farmers’ accounts. This money is distributed in three instalments.
◉ Between April and June, the first instalment of Rs 2,000 is made.
2. Chhattisgarh was the first state to reinstate an ancient pension programme in order to give retired employees a guaranteed income.
◉ From April 1, 2022, the state will issue a Gazette notification to switch back to the Old Pension Scheme (OPS) from the National Pension Scheme (NPS).

5. Oli KP Sharma Nepal’s Prime Minister has been re-elected.

8. Digigold was launched by Airtel Payments Bank.

13. For the Gaganyaan mission, ISRO successfully tested the human-rated HS200 solid rocket booster.
◉ At the Satish Dhawan Space Centre in Sriharikota, Andhra Pradesh, the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) successfully completed the static test of the human-rated solid rocket booster (HS200) for Gaganyaan.
◉ The booster engine is part of the GSLV Mk III rocket, which will launch Indian astronauts into space.
