1. The 8th SCO Agriculture Ministers meeting is presided over by Narendra Singh Tomar.
◉ Under the leadership of Union Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Minister Narendra Singh Tomar, the 8th meeting of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) member countries’ agriculture ministers was conducted.
◉ Along with India, it was attended by Russia, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, China, and Pakistan.
◉ A joint declaration on SCO member-state agricultural cooperation was adopted as a result of the summit.
2. The “G20 Conference on Crime and Security” will be hosted by MHA in July 2023.
◉ The “G20 Conference on Crime and Security in the Age of NFTs (Non-Fungible Tokens), Al and Metaverse” will be held by the Ministry of Home Affairs on July 13 and 14, 2023, in Gurugram, Haryana.
◉ The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA), the Ministry of Home Affairs, and the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) will collaborate to hold the event.
◉ The event will be placed in Gurugram, Haryana, and is being organized by Rashtriya Raksha University, National Forensic Science University, National Law School of India University, Interpol, and the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime.

4. The ‘Stay in your lane’ campaign is started by the Sharjah Police in the United Arab Emirates.
◉ In order to reduce lane infractions on the roads, Sharjah Police in the UAE started the “stay in your lane” traffic campaign in May.
◉ By raising awareness and encouraging adherence to traffic laws and directions, the program seeks to improve the traffic culture among motorists and other users of the road.
◉ Through the Sharjah Police’s social networking sites, awareness-raising messages will be disseminated in three distinct languages as part of the campaign.

5. Launch of the Electronic Bank Guarantee on the Digital Platform by Bank of Baroda
◉ Electronic bank guarantees (e-BGs) have been made available on the BarodaINSTA platform by the government-owned Bank of Baroda in collaboration with National E-Government Services Limited (NeSL).
◉ NeSL is the first and only information utility in India, and it is governed by the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Board of India (IBBI) in accordance with the IBC’s requirements.
◉ The entire lifetime of a bank guarantee, including its issuance, amendment, and closure, is handled digitally from beginning to end with electronic bank guarantees. This significantly reduces the time it takes to issue a bank guarantee while also enhancing its security and accessibility.
6. In Hyderabad, the London Stock Exchange Group will open a technological hub.
◉ The London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG), a provider of data and infrastructure for the global financial markets, will open a technological center of excellence (CoE) in Hyderabad.
