◉ After the INS Vikrant’s performance, the Navy has suggested placing a repeat order for an indigenous aircraft carrier (IAC-II). The price of this carrier is projected to be over 40,000 crore.
◉ To improve its aerial capabilities, the Indian Air Force is looking to purchase 97 more Light Combat Aircraft (LCA)-MK1A fighters. The projected cost of this request is 67,000 crore.
