1. Google contributes $1 million to the Al research facility at IIT-Madras.
◉ Google, a major US technology company, has announced a $1 million contribution to the Indian Institute of Technology Madras (IIT Madras).
◉ The newly established Centre for Responsible Artificial Intelligence (CeRAI) at IIT Madras has announced Google as its first “platinum consortium” member.

2. In Hyderabad, the biological control lab is opened by the agriculture minister.
◉ At the National Institute of Plant Health Management (NIPHM) in Hyderabad, Telangana, the Integrated Biological Control Laboratory has been officially opened by Union Minister of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Narendra Singh Tomar.
