1. Pune will house India’s first waste-to-hydrogen facility.
◉ The first waste-to-hydrogen plant in India will be built by the government at a cost of Rs 430 crores near Pune.
◉ Green Billion Limited, a private firm, will construct the plant.
◉ A 30-year contract between the business and the Pune Municipal Corporation has been struck.
◉ The plant’s goal is to process 350 tonnes of solid trash every day. From this, ten tonnes of hydrogen will be produced each day.
2. In Mumbai, the Divya Kala Mela 2023 is being held.
◉ From February 16 to February 25, the Social Justice and Empowerment Ministry will host the Divya Kala Mela in Mumbai.
◉ The fair will display the goods and handiwork of Divyang business owners and craftsmen from all around the nation.
◉ Almost 200 Divyang artists, business owners, and entrepreneurs from about 24 States and Union Territories will present their work.

3. The sixth phase of Sujalam-Sufalam Jal Abhiyan was launched by Gujarat CM
◉ The sixth phase of the Sujalam-Sufalam Jal Abhiyan was introduced by Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel at Khoraj in Gandhinagar.
◉ The effort, which will last for 104 days through May 31st, aims to increase groundwater levels and make the most of the rains.
◉ All around the state, various construction projects for the deepening of lakes, delisting of check dams and reservoirs, building of new check dams, the construction of forest ponds and agricultural ponds, and cleaning of canals and banks will be carried out.
4. Twelve cheetahs were transported to Kuno National Park from South Africa.
