1. RK Singh unveiled a dashboard for adoption and forecasting data.
◉ RK Singh, the minister of power and new and renewable energy, introduced the EV-Ready India Dashboard in New Delhi.
◉ By 2030, the dashboard predicts an increase in electric vehicle sales of 45%.
◉ The dashboard is a free digital platform that focuses on near real-time electric car adoption and forecasts, associated battery consumption, charging density, and market growth patterns, according to the Power and New and Renewable Energy Ministry.
◉ For the industry, politicians, and end users of electric vehicles, the dashboard is anticipated to enable better involvement across audiences.
2. Nitin Gadkari addresses the 5th edition of India STEM Summit 2023
◉ Nitin Gadkari, the Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways, spoke at the 5th India STEM Summit 2023 in New Delhi.
