1. The ‘Pramarsh 2022’ Career Counseling Workshop was launched in Bikaner.
- Arjun Ram Meghwal, Minister of State for Culture and Parliamentary Affairs has launched ‘Pramarsh 2022,’ a massive career counseling workshop for youngsters in Rajasthan’s Bikaner district.
- This event drew over one lakh kids from thousands of private and government institutions around the Bikaner region, primarily from rural areas. It is the first time in India that over 1 lakh students have participated in a single Career Counseling Workshop.

4. Nepal will be the first country to use India’s Unified Payments Interface (UPI).
- The National Payments Corporation of India said that Nepal will be the first country to embrace India’s UPI system, which will play a key role in revolutionizing the digital economy of the neighboring country (NPCI).
- The services will be provided by NPCI International Payments Ltd (NIPL), NPCI’s international branch, in collaboration with Gateway Payments Service (GPS) and Manam Infotech. 5. According to the SBI Ecowrap report, India’s GDP is expected to grow by 8.8% in FY22.
- The gross domestic product (GDP) growth rate of India for FY22 (2021-22) has been revised downwards to 8.8%, according to the State Bank of India (SBI) Research Report Ecowrap. This was previously expected to be 9.3%.
- According to the report, GDP would expand at a rate of 5.8% in the third quarter (Q3) of FY2021-2022 (October-December). In the second quarter of 2021-22, the country’s GDP grew by 8.4%, surpassing pre-pandemic levels.
6. UNCTAD predicts that global trade will reach a new high of $28.5 trillion in 2021.
- The UNCTAD Global Commerce Update reveals that global trade in goods remained strong in 2021, but trade in services finally recovered to pre-COVID-19 levels.
