◉ India’s first 3D-printed post office has opened in Bengaluru, frequently referred to as the country’s innovation hub. This post office, which is situated in Cambridge Layout close to Ulsoor, has raised the bar for effectiveness, sustainability, and design.
◉ The 1,021-square-foot post office was quickly built in just 43 days, which is a notable improvement over the typical building time of almost 10 months.
◉ Together with technical assistance from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras, renowned construction firm Larsen and Toubro created this architectural marvel. The project, which was initially expected to be finished in September of the previous year, was finally finished in May 2023 and cost Rs 23 lakh.
