1. By 2047, India should be energy independent.
◉ India may become energy independent by the year 2047 when it will have been independent for 100 years, claims the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory of the US Department of Energy.
◉ The “Pathways to Atmanirbhar Bharat” research also states that India’s energy infrastructure will require $3 trillion in investments over the ensuing decades.
◉ According to the report, India would achieve energy independence by adding more than 500 GW of non-fossil electricity generation capacity by 2030, a target that the government has already set, followed by an 80 percent clean grid by 2040 and a 90 percent clean grid by 2047.
2. Nagaland is prepared to host the G20 Business Conference in Kohima in 2023.
◉ The G20 Business Summit 2023 will be held in Kohima, Nagaland, on April 5, 2023.
◉ There will be roughly 110 delegates in all, about 100 of whom will come representing the 28 G20 nations and the rest from affiliated international organizations.
◉ Another focus of the event will be a business conference and cultural activities that will promote Nagaland’s advantages.
3. The 5th Poshan Pakhwada festivities get underway
◉ The sixth Poshan Pakhwada is celebrated nationwide by the Ministry of Women and Child Development.

With a score of 7.8, Finland tops the list for the sixth consecutive year. Other Norwegian nations like ◉ Denmark and Iceland are ranked second and third.
Israel, the Netherlands, Sweden, Norway, Switzerland, Luxembourg, and New Zealand are the other countries on the top 10 list.
◉ The report found that Afghanistan, which is governed by the Taliban, is the least happy of the 137 nations. The Democratic Republic of the Congo, Zimbabwe, Lebanon, and other places are also near the bottom of the list.
