1. The Rajasthani government has approved Rs 13.48 billion to promote religious travel.
◉ The government of Rajasthan has approved spending of Rs 13.48 crore to boost religious travel in the state’s Nagaur, Jaisalmer, and Alwar regions.
◉ The state government has been actively promoting religious travel and creating a variety of facilities for pilgrims at these locations.
◉ As part of the project, funds have been authorized for Butati in the Nagaur district in the amount of Rs. 3.10 crore, Ghatveshwar Mahadev Temple in the amount of Rs. 1.65 crores, Harmal Das Ji ◉ Maharaj Temple in the amount of Rs. 1.61 crores, and Dargah Hazrat Samman Badi Khat in the amount of Rs.1.36 crores.
2. Four new National Highway projects are opened in Haryana by Nitin Gadkari.
◉ Nitin Gadkari, Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways, officially opened and laid the cornerstone for four National Highway projects in the Haryana towns of Sonepat, Karnal, and Ambala.

◉ The Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) has appointed senior IAS official Amit Agrawal as its Chief Executive official (CEO).
◉ He is a Chhattisgarh cadre officer from the 1993 IAS class.
◉ He was a graduate of the Indian Institute of Technology in Kanpur and held a number of significant positions at the Centre as well as in the states of Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh.
◉ He served as an Additional Secretary in the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) before taking the helm at UIDAI.
7. The appointment of Hasmukh Adhia as Chairman of GIFT City
◉ Hasmukh Adhia, a senior retired bureaucrat and former Union Finance Secretary and Revenue Secretary, has been chosen to lead GIFT City Ltd.
◉ Sudhir Mankad, a former chief secretary of Gujarat, is replaced by Adhia.
