1. Piyush Goyal spoke 21st World Accountants Congress
◉ Piyush Goyal, the Union Minister of Commerce and Industry, spoke at the 21st World Congress of Accountants (WCOA) in Mumbai.
◉ The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India is hosting the 21st World Congress of Accountants in a Hybrid format in Mumbai in 2022.

◉ The International Federation of Accountants (IFAC) held the international congress of accountants for the first time in its 118-year history (WCOA).
2. In Coimbatore, Anamalai Tiger Reserve opened “jumbo trails.”
◉ In order to inform visitors to the tiger reserve about elephants, the flora and animals of the Anamalai Tiger Reserve (ATR), and the indigenous communities, the ATR has introduced “jumbo pathways.”

◉ The Global Partnership on Artificial Intelligence (GPAI) is now headed by India instead of France.
GPAI meeting in Tokyo for the symbolic takeover from France was represented by Rajeev Chandrasekhar, Minister of State for Electronics and Information Technology.
◉ GPAI is a global initiative to promote ethical and human-centered artificial intelligence development and application.
