1. Two robots have been added to the Delhi government’s firefighting fleet.
◉ The Delhi government has taken the unusual step of utilising robots to put out flames in the city.
◉ The two robots will be integrated into Delhi’s firefighting fleets, allowing firefighters to easily extinguish fires in tight spaces such as warehouses, basements, stairs, and forests, as well as enter places such as oil and chemical tankers and industries.
2. India has joined the US-led Indo-Pacific economic initiative.
◉ The Indo-Pacific Economic Framework for Prosperity (IPEF), a US-led trade initiative aimed at countering China’s aggressive development in the area, was launched with India and a dozen other countries.

4. Belgium is the first country to require monkeypox patients to stay in quarantine.
◉ After four cases of monkeypox were reported, Belgium became the first country to make a 21-day quarantine mandatory for patients. According to Saudi Gazette, citing Belgian media, the Belgian health authorities made this decision.
◉ The chance of a wider outbreak in Belgium, according to the Belgian Institute of Tropical Medicine, is minimal. According to the World Health Organization, there were 92 confirmed monkeypox cases in 12 countries, with another 28 suspected cases under investigation.
