1. The government has approved the continuation of the IVFRT scheme for another five years at a cost of Rs 1,364 crore.
- The government has approved a five-year extension of the Immigration Visa Foreigners Registration Tracking, or IVFRT, scheme, with a budget of over one thousand 364 crore rupees. The program will run from April 2021 through March 2026.
- Following the implementation of IVFRT, the number of Visa and Overseas Citizen of India cards increased at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 7.7%.
2. The Bhasha Certificate Selfie campaign has been launched by the Ministry of Education.
- To encourage cultural variety, promote multilingualism, and cultivate the ethos of Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat, the Ministry of Education has established the Bhasha Certificate Selfie Campaign. The Bhasha Certificate Selfie campaign aims to promote the Ministry of Education and MyGov India-developed Bhasha Sangam mobile app. People can learn 100 everyday words in 22 scheduled Indian languages with the app.
- The hashtag Bhasha Certificate Selfie is being used to encourage individuals to share their selfies with the certificate on their social media profiles.

10. Six states would receive Rs 1348 crore in funds from the Finance Ministry for Urban Local Bodies.
- For funding to Urban Local Bodies, the Finance Ministry has allocated 1348 crore rupees to six states: Jharkhand, Karnataka, Kerala, Odisha, Tripura, and Tamil Nadu.
