World Vitiligo Day(WVD) is annually observed across the globe on the 25th of June to create awareness about vitiligo, a long-term skin condition caused due to lack of melanin. The day also aims to include recognition of bullying, social neglect, psychological trauma, and disability of the people affected by vitiligo.

Kerala Government will roll out the MEDISEP scheme- the medical insurance scheme for State Government employees, pensioners, and their eligible family members from 1st July 2022. The scheme will provide cashless medical assistance with comprehensive coverage of up to 3 lakhs per year. The annual premium would be Rs 4,800 plus 18 percent GST for the policy period of 2022-24.

The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) extended the timeline for tokenization of debit and credit cards by three months till September 30, 2022 “to avoid disruption and inconvenience to cardholders”. After September 30, no entity in the card transaction or payment chain, other than the card issuers and card networks, should store the CoF (Card-on-File data or storage of actual card data) and any such data stored previously will be purged.
