1. The 37th National Games opened in Goa by the PM
◉ The 37th National Games were opened by Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Goa.

2. The United Nations Forum on Forests is being hosted by India in Dehradun.
◉ The Ministry of Environment, Forests, and Climate Change in Uttarakhand has arranged a two-day Country Led Initiative (CLI) event at the Forest Research Institute in Dehradun.
◉ Approximately fifty-five delegates from thirty nations and forty-one representatives from twenty organizations took part in this Country Lead Initiative to talk about forest certification and wildfires, both in person and virtually.
◉ It is anticipated that the conference will produce workable frameworks and suggestions for handling forest fires and obtaining forest certification, both of which will advance sustainable forest management.
3. Ahmedabad is where Aadi Mahotsav began.
◉ The Aadi Mahotsav in Ahmedabad was officially launched by Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel and Union Minister for Tribal Affairs Arjun Munda.
◉ The 10-day Aadi Mahotsav is being arranged at the Ahmedabad Haat, Vastrapur, Ahmedabad, by the TRIFED (Tribal Cooperative Marketing Development Federation of India, Union Ministry of Tribal Affairs).

◉ Viamericas Corporation and IndusInd Bank have partnered to provide digital inward remittance services on the “Indus Fast Remit” platform to non-resident Indians (NRIs) living in the US.

◉ Through their international bank accounts on the Fast Remit platform, NRIs can start remittance transactions using the auto debit payment option (automated clearing house, or ACH).
