The second of the four Survey Vessels (Large) (SVL) ‘Nirdeshak’ (Yard 3026), was launched at Kattupalli, Chennai, Tamil Nadu. The ship was built by Garden Reach Shipbuilders & Engineers (GRSE) in collaboration with L&T Shipbuilding Limited for the Indian Navy. The first of class ship ‘Sandhayak’ was launched on 5th December 2021 at GRSE, Kolkata.
