National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) has launched an online portal to streamline the process of recognition of teacher education programs in Higher Education Institutions and Teacher Education Institutions. This portal will bring in a paradigm shift in the functioning of the National Council for Teacher Education. The portal aims to provide an automated robust framework thereby enhancing accountability, transparency, and ease of doing business.

The Tamil Nadu government has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the India Post Payments Bank (IPPB) to obtain life certificates from pensioners through the Postal Department’s Door Step Services. The MoU was signed in the presence of Dr.Palanivel Thiaga Rajan, TN’s Minister for Finance and Human Resources Management, in Chennai, Tamil Nadu.

State-owned Bank of Maharashtra has emerged as the top performer among public sector lenders in terms of loan and deposit growth in percentage terms during 2021-22.
