1. Instead of using paper stamps, the Punjab government will begin using e-stamps.
◉ The Punjab government has decided to phase out physical stamp sheets in an effort to improve efficiency and reduce revenue theft. The ‘e-stamp facility’ was unveiled today by Punjab Revenue Minister Bram Shanker Jimpa.
◉ Following this, any denomination of stamp paper can now be bought via ‘e-stamp,’ which includes a computerised print-out from any stamp vendor or state-approved bank.
2. Union Minister Anurag Thakur Launches National Fit India Freedom Rider Cycle Rally On World Bicycle Day,
◉ Union Minister for Youth Affairs and Sports Anurag Thakur organised a national “Fit India Freedom Rider Cycle rally.”

4. Instagram’s new function to assist in the search for missing children
◉ Instagram has launched an ‘alert’ option to assist in the search for youngsters who have gone missing. The photo-sharing app has teamed with a number of organisations around the world to implement the function. If users are in an area where an active search is taking place, the function will highlight facts about missing children on their Instagram feed.
◉ The alerts on Meta’s platform will include information including a child’s photo, description, and abduction location. Instagram will send users notifications depending on their IP address and location services (if they have them turned on), according to the company.
