◉ The Indian Cellular & Electronics Association (ICEA) has set up a dedicated task force to increase the current Indo-US electronics trade, currently at $8 billion, to an ambitious $100 billion within the next ten years in an admirable effort to strengthen trade relations between India and the United States in the electronics sector.
◉ ICEA Chairman Pankaj Mohindroo stressed that reaching this enormous objective would considerably support India’s ambitions to establish itself as a global center for electronics manufacture and innovation.

◉ On September 2, 2023, at 11:50 AM IST, the Satish Dhawan Space Centre in Sriharikota, India, successfully launched the ISRO Aditya L1 mission. The project, which will explore the Sun’s atmosphere, including the chromosphere and corona, is India’s first solely focused solar mission. Additionally, the solar wind and how it interacts with the atmosphere of the Earth will be studied.
◉ A 1.5-ton satellite, the Aditya L1 spacecraft carries seven payloads. The payloads will investigate the Sun’s atmosphere using a range of techniques, such as in-situ observations and remote sensing. Around the Sun-Earth Lagrange Point 1 (L1), which is around 1.5 million kilometers from Earth, the spacecraft will be placed in a halo orbit.
