1. Power Finance gives the government an interim dividend of Rs 2,033 crore for FY24.
◉ For the fiscal year 2023–2024, the government received a dividend of ₹2,033 crore from the state-owned Power Finance Corporation (PFC).
◉ The corporation has paid the dividend in three installments of Rs. 554 crore, Rs. 832 crore, and Rs. 647 crore.
◉ PFC gives the Indian government a record-breaking ₹2,033 crore interim dividend for FY24.
◉ For the fiscal year 2023–2024, PFC has distributed an interim dividend to its shareholders totaling ₹3,630 crore, which is the largest amount the business has ever paid out.
