3. GST revenue for November is Rs. 1,45,867 billion.
◉ Data provided by the finance ministry shows that Goods and Services Tax (GST) receipts for the month of November 2022 totaled 1,45,867 crore.
◉ In comparison to the GST revenue from the same month last year, which was 1,31,526 crore, the revenue for the month of November is 11% higher.
◉ For the ninth consecutive month, GST revenue has stayed above 1.40 lakh crore.

4. The National Statistical Commission has appointed Rajeeva Laxman Karandikar to the position of chair.
◉ For a period of three years, Prof. Rajeeva Laxman Karandikar, professor emeritus at the Chennai Mathematical Institute (CMI), will serve as the National Statistical Commission of India’s (NSCI) part-time chairperson.
◉ While still serving as Professor Emeritus at CMI, he will take up this position as an additional obligation.
◉ He began working at CMI in 2010 as a visiting professor and served as its director from January 2011 to April 2021.

6. Rudrankksh Patil of India won the ISSF President’s Cup in Egypt.
◉ The ISSF President’s Cup was won by Indian shooter Rudrankksh Patil in Cairo, Egypt.
In the 10-meter rifle playoff, he outshot Danilo Sollazzo of Italy 16-8.
◉ When 18-year-old Rudrankksh Patil won the men’s 10-meter air rifle event at the ISSF Rifle-Pistol World Championships 2022, which were also held in Cairo in October of this year, he also secured India’s first Olympic quota for the 2024 Paris Games.
