1. ADITI, a program launched by Rajnath Singh to promote defense innovation
◉ Mantri Raksha To encourage advancements in vital and essential defense technologies, Rajnath Singh introduced the Acing Development of Innovative Technologies with iDEX (ADITI) program.
◉ Start-ups can get up to Rs 25 crore in grant-in-aid for their defense technology research, development, and innovation efforts under this plan.
◉ The program will support young people’s creativity and propel the nation’s technological advancement.
◉ About Rs 750 crore has been set aside for the ADITI initiative, which runs under the iDEX (Innovations for Defence Excellence) framework of the Department of Defence Production (DDP), Ministry of Defence, for the years 2023–2025.
2. Opening the second PESA Regional Conference is Vivek Bharadwaj Secretary for Panchayati Raj, Ranchi Dear, The second Two-Day Regional Conference on Strengthening of PESA was opened in Ranchi, Jharkhand, by Vivek Bharadwaj.

13. Winner of the Padma Shri Award Arun Sharma has gone
◉ At the age of 90, renowned archaeologist Padmashree Dr. Arun Kumar Sharma departed from this life.
◉ Sharma was the most senior member of the team who, at the Allahabad High Court’s request, dug the Ram Janmabhoomi Ayodhya site and filed a report claiming that a temple had been destroyed to make way for a mosque.
