1. “MYUVA Scheme” for Young Entrepreneurs in UP was introduced by CM Yogi.
◉ “Mukhyamantri Yuva Udyami Vikas Abhiyan (MYUVA)” is an initiative called by Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath to assist young entrepreneurs.
◉ Through this program, the government hopes to train one lakh young entrepreneurs annually.
◉ Young entrepreneurs can apply for interest-free loans under this plan up to Rs 5 lakh for projects of that amount.
◉ The program encourages the use of digital payment systems in corporate operations and offers subsidies to support their adoption.
2. Banglar muslin and Cuttack Rupa Tarakasi receive GI tags.
◉ The Geographical Indications Registry in Chennai has granted the Cuttack Rupa Tarakasi, also referred to as Silver Filigree, the Geographical Indication (GI) tag.
◉ With the help of the Department of Textile and Handicrafts, the Government of Odisha, and the Odisha State Co-operative Handicrafts Corporation Limited, Cuttack’s Silver Filigree has been officially recognized as a distinct and protected art form.
◉ Tarakasi, or silver filigree, is an example of the unmatched accuracy and expertise of Cuttack’s artisans.
3. India’s unemployment rate fell to 3.1% in 2023, according to NSO
◉ The National Statistical Office’s most recent employment-unemployment indicators report showed that India’s unemployment rate decreased to 3.1% in 2023 from 3.6% the year before, indicating further improvements in the labor markets.
◉ The rates of unemployment in rural and urban areas fell to 2.4% and 5.2%, respectively, in 2023 from 2.8% and 5.9%, in 2022.
◉ In 2023, women’s unemployment (1.9%) was lower than men’s unemployment (2.7%) in rural areas, while women’s unemployment (7.5%) was greater than men’s (4.4%) in urban areas.
4. Together, Swiggy and IRCTC will distribute meals on Indian trains.
◉ An agreement has been reached between Swiggy, an online food ordering and delivery service, and the Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) for the delivery of pre-ordered food on trains.
◉ Beginning on March 12, the service will be available at four stations: Bengaluru, Bhubaneshwar, Visakhapatnam, and Vijayawada. Over the next few weeks, it will be extended to 59 more metropolitan stations.
◉ Less options available is one of the problems that travelers face on long-term trips. Customers on specific trains can place orders using this interface, and food will be delivered right to their seats.
5. Kalpakkam is home to the first indigenous prototype fast breeder reactor in India.
◉ The first indigenous Prototype Fast Breeder Reactor (PFBR) in India, with a 500 MWe capacity, was officially opened by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Kalpakkam, Tamil Nadu.
◉ With substantial assistance from more than 200 Indian enterprises, including MSMEs, PFBR was entirely planned and built in India by BHAVINI in keeping with the genuine spirit of Aatmanirbhar Bharat.
◉ India will only be the second nation to have a commercially running Fast Breeder Reactor, after Russia, once it is put into service.
◉ The subassemblies of fuel, blanket, and control make up the core of the PFBR reactor. FBRs will offer a clean, safe, and efficient energy source and help achieve net zero because of their increased safety features and reduced amount of radioactive waste produced by the reactor.

◉ The target market for this co-branded travel credit card is luxury to mass markets.
◉ Travel packages, lodging, and airfare are just a few of the categories in which users can accrue credits. This new credit card also comes with a wallet for contactless transactions.
◉ The PNB EMT credit card is available for use in 100 countries and has an annual membership fee of Rs 2000.
