1. The Kartavya Path will replace Rajpath, the GoI declares.
◉ The Central Vista and Rajpath lawns will henceforth be known as Kartavya Path, according to the Indian government. ◉ According to the judgment, the British colony in India will no longer exist.
◉ The choice was made following a special gathering on September 7 that intended to rename the Rajpath and Central Vista lawns.
◉ Previously, the Prime Minister’s home was located on Race Course Road, which the Modi administration renamed Lok Kalyan Marg.
2. In Ahmedabad, Amit Shah unveiled the 36th National Games’ mascot.
◉ The 36th National Games’ mascot and anthem have been introduced by Union Home Minister Amit Shah in Ahmedabad.
◉ The name of the mascot, “Savaj,” means cub in Gujarati.
While “Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat” is the subject of the national anthem.
◉ The National Games will be held in Ahmedabad, Gandhinagar, Surat, Vadodara, Rajkot, and Bhavnagar, six cities in the state, from September 29 to October 12.

◉ HAL-L&T is going to build 5 PSLV rockets: The Hindustan Aeronautics Limited, HAL-L&T consortium has obtained an Rs 860 crore contract from NewSpace India Limited to manufacture five rockets, marking the industry’s first foray into end-to-end polar satellite launch vehicle production (PSLV rockets).
◉ Following a techno-commercial analysis of three bids, the HAL-L&T cooperation was awarded the right to produce PSLV from start to finish.
◉ Five PSLV rockets, India’s proven workhorse launch vehicle, would be produced by the collaboration.
