1. Five additional years will be added to the PM Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana.

2. At IIT Gujarat, the inaugural Australia-India Education & Skill Council meeting took place.

3. Greenfield Airport to be built by L&T in Bhogapuram, Andhra
◉ A sizable order has been obtained by Larsen and Toubro (L&T) Construction to build the Andhra Pradesh greenfield Bhogapuram International Airport project.
◉ The anticipated cost of the project is between Rs 2,500 and Rs 5,000 crore.
◉ The project will start out with a 6 MPA (million passengers annually) capacity and eventually be expanded to a 12 MPA capacity.
◉ Cut and fill work, terminal construction with airport systems, ATC tower, airfield development (including 3,800 m of south runway, an apron, taxiways, airfield ground lighting, fuel hydrant work, and other facilities), landside facilities (roads, landscapes, etc.), utilities, and other support facilities are among the major development works.

4. SBI has 29 branches and is authorized to issue and cash electoral bonds.
◉ With effect from this month’s sixth to the twentieth, the State Bank of India has been granted permission by the Indian government to issue and encash Electoral Bonds through its 29 Authorized Branches in the 29th Phase of sale.
◉ The Election Bonds are only good for 15 calendar days after they are issued, and if they are deposited after that time, no money will be given to the political party that is the payee.
◉ On the same day, the Election Bond that a qualified political party deposits in its account will be credited.
