1. To assist entrepreneurs, the Delhi government has announced a Startup Policy.
◉ The Delhi cabinet has adopted the “Delhi Startup Policy,” which aims to establish an ecosystem for people to start businesses by offering tax and non-tax advantages, collateral-free loans, and free advice from experts, lawyers, and accountants.
◉ The Delhi government will pay up to 50% of a startup’s office rent or contribute to a percentage of the salaries that these companies will pay their employees. We will also reimburse them for the costs of filing patents, copyrights, and trademark applications.
2. Gujarat will receive India’s first Regional Rapid Transit System from the NCRTC.
◉ At Alstom’s Savli project in Gujarat, India’s first semi-high-speed train set for the Regional Rapid Transit System (RRTS) was handed over to the National Capital Region Transport Corporation (NCRTC).
◉ RRTS train sets are constructed under the Make in India program and have a top speed of 180 kilometers per hour.
3. The Kerala government will launch the ‘Shaili App’ to diagnose and manage lifestyle disorders.
◉ Kerala’s government plans to release the ‘Shaili’ Android app, which will help residents in the state diagnose and manage lifestyle disorders.

◉ In the Financial Year 2022, AWL recorded total operating revenue of Rs 54,214 crore, whereas HUL reported revenue of Rs 51,468 crore in the Financial Year 2021-22.

7. Sharma, Alkesh Kumar named as the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology’s new Secretary
◉ Alkesh Kumar Sharma, a Kerala cadre IAS from the 1990 batch, has been appointed Secretary of the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY).
◉ From October 2015 to September 2019, Sharma served as the Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of the National Industrial Corridor Development Corporation Limited (NICDC) (formerly DMICDC). He was also the President and Chief Executive Officer of the National Industrial Corridor Development and Implementation Trust (NICDIT).

8. ISRO and the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to begin the ISRO Technical Training Program.
◉ The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) and the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE) have signed an MoU with the purpose of upskilling the technical personnel at ISRO’s Department of Space.
◉ The program intends to provide a structured framework for short-term courses that will provide training for ISROtechnical professionals in the space domain in accordance with industry requirements.

◉ At the 37th Air Chief Marshal PC Lal Memorial Lecture, organized by the Air Force Association in New Delhi, Delhi, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh released a book titled “INDO-PAK WAR 1971- Reminiscences of Air Warriors.”
◉ Air Marshal Jagjeet Singh and Group Captain Shailendra Mohan edited the book. The book includes 50 Swarnim essays written by warriors who recount their personal experiences.
