1. Reliance was named 20th in Forbes’ World’s Best Employers 2022 list.
◉ According to Forbes’ World’s Best Employers rankings 2022, Reliance Industries is rated 20th, making it the first Indian company to rank in the top 20.
◉ South Korean conglomerate Samsung Electronics topped the global rankings, followed by Microsoft, IBM, Alphabet, and Apple.
◉ US corporations rank second through twelfth, with German carmaker BMW Group placing thirteenth. Amazon, the world’s largest online store, is ranked 14th, and French company Decathlon is placed 15th.
◉ Except for Reliance, no Indian company is within the top 100.
2. Nitin Gadkari launched 13 road projects in Madhya Pradesh costing Rs 5315 crore.
◉ Union Minister Nitin Gadkari and Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan laid the foundation stone and inaugurated 13 road projects worth 5,315 crore rupees in Madhya Pradesh’s Jabalpur and Mandla districts.
◉ At the Police Ground in Mandla, the foundation stone was laid for five road projects totaling 329 kilometers and costing Rs 1261 crores.
◉ They also unveiled eight road projects totaling 214 kilometers and costing Rs 4054 crores at the Veterinary College Ground in Jabalpur.

6. ADB awarded a loan of USD 350 million to Maharashtra for road connectivity.
◉ The Asian Development Bank (ADB) has authorized a USD 350 million (about Rs 2,900 crore) loan to Maharashtra to strengthen road connectivity in the state’s important economic sectors.
◉ The Connecting Economic Clusters for Inclusive Growth project would build roads in the districts of Ahmednagar, Hingoli, Jalna, Kohalpur, Nagpur, Nanded, Nashik, Pune, Sangli, and Satara.
◉ It will expand on the Maharashtra State Road Improvement Project, which ADB authorized in April 2020.
