1. On the Falgu River, the Bihar CM opened the nation’s longest rubber dam.
◉ On the Falgu River in Gaya, Chief Minister of Bihar Nitish Kumar opened the Gayaji Dam, which is the country’s longest rubber dam.
It is 3 metres tall and 411 metres long.
◉ There will be an increase in pilgrims and a change in the landscape as a result of the rubber dam on the Falgu River, which has a sizable tract of sand dunes.
◉ An estimated $324 million was spent on the dam’s construction. The project featured experts from IIT (Roorkee). There will always be enough water in the dam for pilgrims’ convenience.
2. India’s healthcare market is anticipated to grow to $50 billion by 2025.
◉ According to Union Minister Jitendra Singh, the healthcare industry in India is predicted to increase and reach a value of $50 billion by 2025.

3. The government of Odisha introduced the “CHHATA” rainwater harvesting programme.
◉ A rainwater harvesting programme called “Community Harnessing and Harvesting Rainwater Artificially from Terrace to Aquifer” has been initiated by the government of Odisha (CHHATA).
◉ Goal: Starting the following month, revive groundwater resources and raise the water table.
◉ It will be put into effect for five years.
◉ Rainwater harvesting structures will be built on the roofs of 29,500 private buildings and 1,925 government buildings, encompassing 52 water-stressed blocks and 27 urban local bodies, in accordance with the feasibility based on groundwater resource assessment performed in 2020.

◉ The International Tourism Award 2023 for “best location for cultural” went to West Bengal.
◉ West Bengal will get the International Travel Award 2023 for “Best Destination for Culture” from the Pacific Area Travel Writers Association, a UN World Tourism Organization affiliate. On March 9, 2023, during the World Tourism and Aviation Leaders’ Summit in Berlin, the award will be given out.
◉ To promote tourism in the area, the Pacific Area Travel Writers Association (PATWA) was established in 1998.

◉ In Gujarat, HDFC Bank debuted its cutting-edge “Bank on Wheel” van. Villages without banks will be served by the Bank in Wheel van service.
