1. The unemployment rate in India declined to 7.6% in March from 8.1 percent in February 2022.
◉ The overall unemployment rate in India fell to 7.6% in March 2022, according to data from the Centre for Monitoring Indian Economy (CMIE).
◉ In February 2022, this rate was 8.10 percent. The survey also said that, while India’s total jobless rate is declining, it remains high for a “poor” country such as India.
2. The Ministry of Culture has launched the website ‘Temple 360.’
◉ On April 02, 2022, Meenakshi Lekhi, Minister of State for Culture and External Affairs, launched the website ‘Temple 360’ during an event hosted by the Ministry of Culture at the IGNCA ◉ Ampitheatre, Indira Gandhi National Centre of Arts, New Delhi, under the umbrella of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav.
Temple 360 is a digital platform that allows anyone to visit or do darshan of the 12 Jyotirlinga and Char Dham from anywhere in the world, making life easier while also keeping people connected.
3. The Delhi government has begun a program to establish “Hobby Hubs” in government schools.

5. JICA and India have agreed to grant loans totaling 312.258 billion yen for seven projects.
◉ In Delhi, the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) signed Japanese ODA (Official Development Assistance) Loan Agreements with the Government of India, committing to deliver 258 billion yen in Japanese ODA loans for seven projects.
◉ By promoting climate change response and establishing a resilient society, helps to strengthen the Japan-India collaboration and commemorates the 70th anniversary of diplomatic relations.

7. The RBI set the WMA limit for states and union territories at Rs 47,010 crores.
◉ Due to uncertainty surrounding COVID-19, the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) lowered the Ways and Means Advances (WMA) for states and Union Territories to Rs 47,010 crore from Rs 51,560 crore, effective April 1, 2022, and are subject to revision.
◉ WMAs are short-term loans provided by the RBI to the government to help it deal with any discrepancies between receipts and payments. The Government of India (GoI) has set a WMA ceiling of Rs 1,50,000 crore for the first half of FY23 (H1FY23).
8. As of March 2022, the government had collected an all-time high of Rs 1.42 lakh crores as GST.
◉ In March 2022, the gross collection of the Goods and Services Tax (GST) reached an all-time high of over 1,42,095 crores.
◉ CGST (Central Goods and Services Tax) is 25,830 crore rupees, SGST (State Goods and Services Tax) is 32,378 crore rupees, IGST (Integrated Goods and Services Tax) is 74,470 crore rupees, and cess is 9,417 crore rupees.
