1. IndiGo was the first airline to use the GAGAN navigation system to land a plane.
◉ IndiGo was the first airline in the country to use the GAGAN navigation system to land planes.
◉ Using GPS-aided geo-augmented navigation (GAGAN), which was jointly developed by the Centre-run Airports Authority of India (AAI) and the Indian Space Research Organisation, the flight was done using an ATR-72 aircraft and landed at the Kishangarh airport in Rajasthan (ISRO).

◉ The World Bank has authorized a USD 47 million loan to India’s government for Mission Karmayogi, a national civil service capacity-building program.
◉ The $47 million loans from the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (IBRD) have an 11-year final maturity with a 4.5-year grace period. On September 2, 2020, the Union Cabinet announced the beginning of Mission Karmayogi.
