1. The first ‘Lavendar Festival’ in India was conducted in Bhaderwah, Jammu, and Kashmir.
◉ Dr. Jitendra Singh, Union Minister of Science and Technology, has launched the country’s first ‘Lavendar festival’ in Bhaderwah, Jammu, where lavender production has altered the hilly area’s economy.
◉ The cradle of India’s purple revolution is Bhaderwah in the Doda district. Under the ‘Aroma Mission or Purple Revolution,’ a Central government effort aimed at altering the lives of UT’s farmers, lavender has improved the fortunes of farmers in Jammu and Kashmir.
2. The 3rd Global Organic Expo will be held in New Delhi in 2022.

◉ PM Narendra Modi has inaugurated the world’s first Nano Urea Liquid Plant in Kalol, Gandhinagar, Gujarat, built by Indian Farmers Fertilizer Cooperative Ltd (IFFCO).
◉ At a ceremony in Gandhinagar, the Prime Minister dedicated the ultramodern Nano Urea Liquid Fertilizer facility to the nation.
◉ To raise productivity and increase farmers’ income, the Nano Urea Liquid Plant was developed at a cost of roughly Rs 175 crore. It will generate approximately 5 lakh 500 ml bottles.

◉ Dr. Sultan Al Jaber, UAE Climate Envoy and Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology, and Environment, Forest and Climate Change Minister Bhupender Yadav signed the agreement in New Delhi.

13. The Indian Navy’s survey vessel, INS Nirdeshak, was launched by GRSE.
◉ Nirdeshak was launched at Kattupalli, Chennai, as the second of four Survey Vessels (Large) (SVL) projects being built by Garden Reach Shipbuilders and Engineers (GRSE) in conjunction with L&T Shipbuilding for the Indian Navy.
◉ The ship is named after the former Indian Naval Survey ship Nirdeshak, which was decommissioned in December 2014 after 32 years of distinguished service.
