1. The initiative “One Health Pilot” started in Bengaluru
◉ The One Health pilot will be introduced by the Department of Animal Husbandry & Dairying (DAHD) in Bengaluru.
◉ The program aims to unite key players in the fields of animal, human, and environmental health around a shared platform to discuss issues.
2. Tata Power Solar’s Kerala-based largest floating solar power project in India
◉ In Kayamkulam, Kerala, Tata Power Solar Systems, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Tata Power, has officially opened the largest floating solar power facility in India.
◉ The solar plant has an installed capacity of 101.6 Megawatt and is spread out over a 350-acre water body in the backwaters (MWp).
◉ Despite the difficult problems of fluctuating water depths, high sea tides, and serious water salinity concerns faced throughout the project’s construction phase, this installation was finished within the allotted time.

3. The World Bank has authorized a loan for $245 million to upgrade India’s rail infrastructure.
◉ For the purpose of lowering India’s high carbon emissions and low modal freight share on the railways, the World Bank authorized a loan for the rail logistics project in the amount of USD 245 million.
◉ The project by Indian Railways will assist India in moving more traffic from the road to rail. This will increase the effectiveness of transportation while lowering annual GHG emissions by millions of tonnes. Additionally, the project will encourage more private sector investment in the railroad industry.
◉ The loan, which is sponsored by the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development, has a 22-year maturity with a seven-year grace period.
4. Zomato purchased Blinkit in an all-stock deal for Rs. 4,447 crores.
◉ The online food delivery service Zomato has announced the acquisition of Grofers India’s former competitor Blink Commerce (Blinkit).
◉ The business’s Board of Directors approved a plan to pay Rs 4,447 crore to buy the cash-strapped fast commerce company Blinkit.
◉ Zomato provided Grofers India Private Limited with loans totaling USD 50 million last year.

◉ The World Bank has granted a loan of USD 250 million for the Indian government’s program on road safety, which aims to reduce the high number of deadly traffic accidents in the nation.
◉ Through enhanced road safety management, institutional reform, and results-based interventions on high-risk roads, the program aims to assist participating states in reducing the number of people killed and injured in traffic crashes. Additionally, it will improve the international institution’s post-crash care emergency medical and rehabilitation services.
◉ Despite having only 1% of the world’s vehicles, India is responsible for roughly 10% of all fatal crashes.

6. IDRCL names Avinash Kulkarni as CEO
