1. In Bhopal, a sizable statue of Chandrashekhar Azad will be built.
◉ Amar Shaheed Chandrashekhar Azad will be honored in Bhopal with the construction of a sizable statue. With earth from Azad’s birthplace of Bhabra being used as its base, the statue site will be built as a source of motivation for young people.
◉ Shivraj Singh Chouhan, the chief minister, delivered a speech at the inauguration ceremony of the first state-level Youth ◉ Mahapanchayat, which was held in Bhopal on the 116th anniversary of Amar Shaheed Chandrashekhar Azad’s birth.
2. Gujarat’s e-FIR system was inaugurated by Union Minister Amit Shah
◉ Amit Shah, the Union Home Minister, has introduced an electronic FIR filing system in Gandhinagar that will allow residents to submit FIRs online without going to a police station.
◉ By adding one more service to existing online offerings, the Gujarat Government has made a significant choice to launch the e-FIR service. Theft of a vehicle or a cell phone can now be reported by state residents without having to visit the police station. The state’s people will be able to lodge grievances online from the comfort of their homes thanks to this internet service.

3. Monkeypox vaccine Europe has authorized IMVANEX.
◉ Imvanex, a vaccine for monkeypox, has been authorized by the European Medicines Agency (EMA) to shield adults from the virus as cases surge worldwide.
◉ Based on the suggestion of the Committee for Medicinal Products for Human Use (CHMP), who found that the vaccine of Bavarian Nordic provenance provided protection against the monkeypox virus, the vaccine, which is presently used to treat smallpox, was approved by the European Union.
4. The first Bangladeshi woman to summit K2, the second-highest peak in the world, was Wasifa Nazreen.
◉ Mountaineer Wasifa Nazreen became the first person from Bangladesh to scale K2, the second-highest mountain peak, which is governed by Pakistan.
◉ She ascended to the base camp after conquering the 8611-meter-high (28,251-foot) mountain peak known as K2. The summit is considered to have been reached when a climber leaves the peak and returns to base camp.
5. Wentian lab module was launched by China to its permanent space station.
◉ One of the last missions required to finish the orbiting outpost by the end of the year saw China successfully launch the second of three modules to its permanent space station.
◉ The Long March 5B rocket, China’s most potent rocket, is being launched from the Wenchang Space Launch Center on the southern island of Hainan with the 23-ton Wentian (‘Quest for the Heavens’) laboratory module on board.
