1. IIT Kanpur and NPCI inked an MoU for scientific cooperation.
◉ IIT Kanpur and the National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to exchange information on creative concepts and work together to promote domestic digital payments.
◉ The partnership will aid in the improvement of cybersecurity safeguards for the goods and services provided by NPCI and its affiliates.
◉ As a result of this partnership, distinguished faculty members from the institute will educate NPCI staff on cybersecurity, as well as the newest developments in Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), Security Product Roadmaps, and Distributed ledger technologies (DLT).

2. To draw in international investment, SEBI established a 15-person team under the leadership of K V Subramanian.

7. Sakshi Malik of India won the women’s 62 kg wrestling gold medal.

8. India’s Bajrang Punia won the men’s 65 kg wrestling gold medal.

◉ He is currently the first wrestler from India to take home a gold medal from Birmingham. The Indian wrestler won the match after outdueling the Canadian opponent 9-2.
9. Naveen Kumar won the 74 Kg gold medal at CWG 2022. Category
In the 74 kg final at the Commonwealth Games 2022, wrestler Naveen Kumar defeated Muhammad Sharif Tahir of Pakistan to win the gold medal for India.

10. Men’s fours lawn bowling: India took home the silver medal.
