1. The Darjeeling Zoo has been named India’s top zoo.
◉ The best zoo in the nation has been named Darjeeling’s Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park.
◉ The Sri Chamarajendra Zoological Gardens in Mysore, Karnataka, came in second, followed by the Arignar Anna Zoological Park in Chennai.

2. The new name of Air India will be Vihaan.AI
◉ Air India, which is owned by Tata, has announced a rebranding as “Vihaan.AI” and outlined a complete transformation strategy with a specific five-year road map.
◉ In addition, Air India will aim to dramatically expand its international flights over the next five years while boosting its domestic market share to at least 30%.

3. The Sports Ministry and NTPC & REC inked an MoU to advance sports.

4. Swachhata Portal was established by Union Minister Jitendra Singh.

13. Asad Rauf, a former cricket referee, passed away
◉ Asad Rauf, a former Pakistani umpire, passed away in Lahore following a cardiac arrest. He was 66.
◉ Rauf began his umpiring career in 1998, and in 2000, he officiated his first international match, an ODI between Pakistan and Sri Lanka. Rauf was first added to the International Panel of Umpires in 2004, which was four years later.
◉ He held the position of authority for seven years before being dismissed from the illustrious panel of umpires in 2013 as a result of a yearly performance evaluation.
14. Naresh Kumar, a former Davis Cup captain, passed away.
