1. Cauvery South Wildlife Sanctuary has been designated as Tamil Nadu’s 17th wildlife sanctuary.
◉ The Tamil Nadu government has designated the 68,640-hectare Cauvery South Wildlife Sanctuary as the state’s 17th wildlife sanctuary.
◉ The sanctuary, which includes reserve forest areas in Krishnagiri and Dharmapuri districts, is a wildlife paradise with 35 species of mammals, 238 species of birds, Leith’s soft-shelled turtles, smooth-coated otters, marsh crocodiles, and four-horned antelopes.
◉ Section 26-A of the Wild Life (Protection) Act of 1972 was used to notify the sanctuary.
2. Under the ANIC program, the Atal Innovation Mission launched women-centric challenges.
◉ The NITI Aayog’s Atal Innovation Mission (AIM) has launched Women-centric challenges as part of the second edition of the Atal New India Challenge (ANIC).

◉ The transaction comprises 31 wholesale distribution centers, land banks, and other properties owned by the German company, which will help Reliance grow its footprint in the B2B segment.
◉ The holding entity for all retail enterprises is Reliance Retail Ventures Ltd, a subsidiary of Reliance Industries.

◉ Three prominent Indian businesswomen have been named to Forbes’ Asia’s Power Businesswomen 2022 list.

5. SIDBI has entered into an agreement with the Bureau of Energy Efficiency to finance green MSMEs.
◉ The Ministry of Power’s Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE) has struck an agreement with the Small Industries Development Bank of India (SIDBI) to finance green MSMEs.
