1. Haryana established prizes to encourage good government.
◉ The Haryana government has established an award program to encourage excellent governance and recognize creative human resources who go above and beyond at work.
◉ The Haryana Good Governance Award Scheme allows officials who have made innovative contributions to the economic, infrastructure, social, or state flagship programs to apply for awards.
◉ The winning person or team will receive the first prize of 51,000, the second prize of 31,000, and the third prize of 21,000 for the state-level award.
◉ At the district level, the first-place winner will receive $31,000 in cash, followed by $21,000 for second place and $11,000 for third place.
2. In Silchar, Sarbananda Sonowal opened the Unani Institute.
◉The Regional Research Institute of Unani Medicine (RRIUM) in Silchar has been officially opened by Union Minister Ayush Sarbananda Sonowal.
