1. Government of Tamil Nadu started the “Friends of Library” program.
◉ The “Friends of Library” program, which the Tamil Nadu government has started, would deliver books directly to people who are unable to use state-run libraries.
◉ People with impairments, elders, children, and hospital in-patients, among others, who are unable to visit a library can benefit from this effort.
◉ In its initial phase, the program will encompass 2,500 libraries, including 31 district libraries.
2. The state of Madhya Pradesh’s administration has established a task group to combat online gambling.
◉ A high-level task committee has been established by the government of Madhya Pradesh to offer suggestions about the regulation of online gaming and gambling.
◉ Iqbal Singh Bains, the state’s chief secretary, will serve as its leader.
◉ In order to prohibit and control online gambling and gaming, a task force has been established to look at various legal precedents, scenarios, and technical elements. The task force will then provide recommendations to the state government.

10. Kyle Naik The demise of Bhairon Singh Rathore
