1. The UP Global City program was started by the state of Uttar Pradesh.
◉ A hundred-day “UP Global City” campaign has been started by the Uttar Pradesh government in anticipation of the G20 meeting and the Global Investors Summit.

◉ Mansukh Mandaviya, the Union Minister for Health, Family Welfare, and Chemicals and Fertilizers, has said that the Talcher Fertilizer Plant in Odisha, the nation’s first-ever coal gasification-based fertilizer facility, will be ready to be dedicated to the country by October 2024.
◉ It will be India’s first and biggest coal gasification facility. When the factory is running, it will lessen our reliance on imported urea.
◉ Five out of the four urea plants have already been put into operation as part of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Aatmanirbhar Bharat initiative.
