1. The government of Madhya Pradesh introduced the “Laadli Bahna” program
◉ On the occasion of Narmada Jayanti, Shivraj Singh Chouhan, the chief minister of Madhya Pradesh, announced the Ladli Bahna Yojana.
◉ Through this program, Madhya Pradesh girls from lower- and middle-class families will receive 1000 each month. This program will be available to 65% of the sisters in Madhya Pradesh.
◉ This program will be available to women from all castes within the state, including General, Backward, Scheduled Castes, and Scheduled Tribes.
◉ Through the program, the government will add $60,000 over the course of five years to each sister’s account.

6. GST revenue of Rs. 1.55 billion in January 2023
